Joakim Pops

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Joakim Pops is Co-Founder and CEO of Webrock Ventures. Prior to founding Webrock, Joakim was the CEO at hitta.se, and Founder and CEO at WebTraffic. He holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Joakim is based in Stockholm, and divides his time between Brazil and Sweden.

Patrik Axelsson

CO-FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Patrik Axelsson is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Webrock Ventures. Prior to founding Webrock, Patrik was involved in Spray, Gymgrossisten and Marieberg Interactive, amongst others. Patrik is based in both Stockholm and São Paulo, and divides his time between Brazil and Sweden.

Anna Söderberg

PARTNER

Anna Söderberg is Partner at Webrock Ventures. Prior to joining Webrock, Anna worked at H&Q Bank (Carnegie) and Swedbank. She holds an LL. M from Stockholm University and a BBA from Stockholm Business School. Anna is based in Stockholm.

Christian Manhusen

PARTNER

Christian Manhusen is Partner at Webrock Ventures. Prior to joining Webrock, Christian worked at Oriflame and L’Oréal. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. Christian is based in Stockholm, and divides his time between Brazil and Sweden.

Joshin Raghubar

PARTNER AFRICA

Joshin Raghubar is Partner Africa at Webrock Ventures. He is the founder of iKineo Ventures and several other companies including Adbot, Explore Sideways and Sprout Performance Partners. He is the Cape Innovation & Technology Initiative chairperson, an Aspen Institute Africa Leadership Initiative Fellow, and a Yale World Fellow. Joshin is based in Cape Town.

Pedro Vasquez

Pedro Vasquez is Partner at Webrock Ventures. Prior to joining Webrock, Pedro worked in banking risk and investment management at Banco Modal, Arsenal Research and RC Gestão. Pedro is based in São Paulo.

Lovisa Bergström

ASSOCIATE

Lovisa Bergström is an Associate at Webrock Ventures. She has a double-degree master’s degree, combining studies from Stockholm School of Economics with FGV in Sao Paulo. Lovisa is based in Sao Paulo.

Carolina Ázaro

INTERN

Carolina is an intern at Webrock Ventures. She is studying for a bachelor in Business Administration at FGV. Carolina is based in Sao Paulo.

Petra von Rohr

MEMBER OF THE BOARD

Petra is CEO at BioCool AB. She has 10+ years of experience from the finance and communications industry, working for companies such as Burson-Marsteller, Remium and Mojo Solutions. She is former Director Group Communications and Investor Relations at Com Hem AB.

Katinka Engellau-Nilsson

MEMBER OF THE BOARD

Katinka is COO at Burt Intelligence. She has 10+ years of experience in the technology industry companies as well as in the FMCG industry with companies such as H&M and Procter & Gamble.

Johan Frenckner

MEMBER OF THE BOARD

Johan is the Co-founder and CEO of impact investment fund Longrun Capital AB. He is an expert in early-stage investments with 20 years of experience building up tech companies as both an entrepreneur and an investor. Johan sits on the boards of multiple tech startups.

David Frykman is General Partner at leading Swedish impact VC Norrsken VC. He is also a Board Member at Beckman College of Design and Angel Investor in companies such as Budbee, Sellpy, and Mentimeter.

Anders Jonsson

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Anders Jonsson is Senior Advisor at Valentum and a private investor. He is also a Member of the Supervisory Board at Academic Work.

Joaquim Lima

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL

Joaquim Lima is Partner of Riverwood Capital. Previously, he was Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington and Sao Paulo. Prior to that, Joaquim worked in investment banking at Citi in Brazil.

Marcos Olmos

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL

Marcos Olmos is Head of Venture Capital at Vox Capital in Brazil. He was a partner at Webrock for four years. Marcos has also worked at PepsiCo, PwC, Citigroup and CM Capital Partners. He holds an MBA from NYU.

Arthur O’Keefe

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL

Athur is Founder and CPO of Bamboo Debt Capital Markets Platform and a Brazilian tech growth equity investor. Prior to that, he was Partner Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Corporate Development at Movile. He is also a board member at iFood, Maplinks, Playkids and Rapiddo Entregas.

Caspar Høgh

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Caspar Hogh is the Co-Founder of impact investment firm NOON Ventures. Prior to that, Caspar was the COO of Tattoodo and also has experience from Bain and Company.

Martin Bentzen

OSLO, NORWAY

Martin Bentzen is COO in Wikborg Rein Law firm. He is the former CEO of GroupM in Norway and has experience from leadership positions at Microsoft, Schibsted, and Telenor.

Janina Backlund

HELSINKI, FINLAND

Janina Backlund is leading Security Marketing for Microsoft in Western Europe. Prior to Microsoft, she led Accenture Digital’s marketing in the Nordics and Innovation marketing for Accenture Finland.
